WATERING

The quantity of water and the watering frequency depend on the size of the plant in relation to its pot, the location, and the season. Always pour water from the top. Do not allow water to remain in the bowl or pot, since this would cause root rot.

Summer
From March onwards, the watering should be gradually increased. During the hot and sunny summer days, you must certainly and regularly give plenty of water. Hanging leaves indicate water deficiency. Plants in pots require less water when it rains in comparison to plants in the open soil.

Winter
The watering may be reduced from September/October onwards. In winters, the pot soil may be drier but should never be allowed to dry out completely. Water shortfall in a plant in its dormant state will not be seen in the form of drooping leaves - this happens in summer. Don’t be caught unawares.
